Does PriceCalc work without internet?
Yes. Internet is only needed to activate the licence initially and to confirm it every 3 days. If the server is unreachable, the application continues to work for up to 14 days without a connection.
How does the 30-day free trial work?
Download the full application and activate the trial period — no credit card, no commitments. After 30 days you can purchase a licence or simply stop using the software.
Is my production data safe?
All your data — ingredients, recipes, pricing history — is stored only in a database file on your own computer. No production data is ever sent to any server.
What happens if I change computers?
Contact us by email and we will transfer the licence to your new computer. You can move the database file yourself — just copy it to the new machine.
Can I use PriceCalc for any type of product?
Yes. PriceCalc is a universal production cost calculator — it works for any product made from raw ingredients: baked goods, dishes, medicines, cosmetics, tea blends, spices, and more.
What kind of support is available?
We respond by email on business days. Documentation is provided in the application. A demonstration session can be arranged before purchasing a licence.
What is FIFO and why does it matter?
FIFO (First In, First Out) means the oldest stock lot is used first when deducting from inventory. Combined with weighted average cost tracking, it gives you the most accurate ingredient cost for each production run.
Is there a pharmacy-specific version?
Yes — PharmCalc combines PriceCalc with TaxaLaborumCalc (for compounded reimbursed medicines calculated according to Taxa Laborum rules) in a single application with one shared ingredient database and one licence key. See taxa.lt for details.
